In the 1910 Workshop we hand mask the stripes and spray them with SolarFast, a light-reactive dye that cures in direct sunlight. The first wash is yours — and it's the last step of the process. Wash it alone, and the SolarFast releases into the fabric, softening the stripes into the overdyed wash you see in the first photo. How much it bleeds depends on how hard the sun was hitting and how long we let it cure that day. We don't control it. Neither do you.
